ClockWize

ClockWize is a multifunctional bedside smart alarm clock. It has built-in speakers for the alarm, and it can connect to your phone via bluetooth to play music. It also has a detachable wireless charging pad that connects to the main body of the clock via USB Type-C.

Ideation & Prototyping

  • Ideation 1

    The initial concepts were clocks with analog buttons and knobs. It needs to be easy to use so that kids or people with mental disability can understand and use it.

  • Ideation 2

    The idea then turned into digital clocks that allows them to have more features and functions.

  • Prototyping: Pink Foam Model

    Shaping the pink foam to the desired shape.

  • Prototyping: Finishing

    Putting on layers of joint compound and sanding it to make the surface as smooth as possible.

  • Prototyping: Screen

    Prototyping and visualizing how the screen would look like

  • Prototyping: Vacuum Formed Shell

    Vacuum forming the foam model to create the shell.
